I am considered an out-of-network provider with most insurance companies. This means I do not bill your insurance directly. Payment for sessions is due at the time of service.
At the end of each month, I can provide you with a document called a superbill. A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the necessary information (such as diagnosis codes, dates of service, and session fees) that your insurance company may require in order to process a claim. You can submit this superbill to your insurance company to see if they will reimburse you directly for a portion of the cost of sessions.
Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual plan. I recommend contacting your insurance provider in advance to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
